Cherylene Locke:
A butt-kicking P.I. with a big heart, and an ego to match. The adopted daughter of two retired career cops, Cherylene was raised to stand up for what is right, and fight against injustice.
Trained in self defence since she was five, Cherylene learned from the best; her parents, and the instructors of the Victorian Police Academy. Her extended family are the guys who work at the East Melbourne police station, and her home, the streets of Melbourne city.
After she is killed … wait, what? … No. After she is brutally attacked, and okay, maybe she died for just a short time, Cherylene comes back better than ever. With enhanced strength and speed, and apparently … visions of the past and future.
Her first challenge? Find the bastard that attacked her!
‘Cherylene Locke’ (a working title at this stage), is my latest main character and I am thoroughly enjoying her butt kicking ways. It is slow going, but I hope to finish this story by the end of the year and maybe even get it out on the shelves before Christmas (Although, don’t hold your breath. I’ve just realised we’re already in October.
